8 Months and more fun than ever!

We got to do a lot of fun stuff w/ Landon during his 8th month. We watched him get into everything! We went to the fair to see the animals and big trucks. He took his first ride in a swing at the park and loved it! He also got a bike seat for the back of daddy's bike and went for his first bike ride. We also took a trip to see cousin Noelle. It was a great month! We had our struggles too, Landon started night waking again. This was an adjustment for us because he always went to sleep really well and has been sleeping through the night since 2 months old, but we got through it and are trying to figure out what works for our active little boy. We are enjoying our son so much. He is such a happy little boy. He brings a lot of joy and fun to our house. He still loves to give slobbery kisses, he is starting to do something like a wave and makes the dada sound (although he has no idea what that means.) He also has the best laugh ever!

I like to sneak behind th end table and play in the stack of Bibles mommy and daddy keep for the teenager's Bible study on Tuesdays.

I like to make a mess too!

But they can't get mad at me for reading (or playing w/) God's word right?

I have been trying to get into this cabinet since I could crawl! This was a good day for me!

Mommy thinks its funny when I sleep w/ my behind in the air.

Firs time at the fair! Not to interested in the goats, pigs or cows though...

I loved the ducks though! (Although you wouldn't know it from my expression here)
Let's just say I like the ducks best when they are in the cage!

Trucks are cool!

Chasing my ball around!

First bath w/o my baby tub! (Note the strategically placed rag.)

On the slide w/ Mommy, not a great picture, but the only one we have.

Swings are fun!

Randy and Denise came to visit me!

I like to play under the swing...

however you do have to take some risks when playing under the swing...

Like when it knocks you down!

Hanging out w/ Kristen and Kayla!

Getting ready to go on my first bike ride, don't be fooled by the remote,
they don't make me wear a helmet to watch television.
My mom just gave it to me to keep me happy.

So cute in my helmet!

Getting strapped in!

Still smiling after the ride!

Daddy is funny!

Daddy feeding Noelle on our visit.

Playing w/ Uncle Chad!
We don't have pink stuff like this at my house!

All this activity wears us out!

7 Months Old and into EVERYTHING!

7 months was a big time for Landon, he attended his first VBS (attending meaning he rode in the back pack, stroller and took naps in the van!) He got to help host his first mission team (who was doing the VBS) and of course charmed each and every one of them. We did some swimming in the Langs and Whites swimming pool, Mrs. Mary wanted to start swimming lessons early. He also WENT on his first mission trip, which means he also "attended his first sports camp" and crawled for the first time. He started crawling on July 24th and has gone full speed ahead ever since. He started crawling and pulling up at the same time. The first time he crawled was on the mission trip and as soon as we got home and I put him on the floor he went directly for the floor lamp and its cord. Thus the child proofing began for Mommy and Daddy! Hope you enjoy some of these pictures of our adorable and ACTIVE little boy.

Helping the boys w/ their sports camp plans.

I know my stuff, they listened to me. :)

This was my sports camp track, laying on the floor and rolling around...

I also picked the ride in the back pack track!
As a bonus I learned to crawl! Sports camp taught me a lot!

Spencer wanted to feed me dinner.

Back at home, bouncing in my chair is exhausting!

Pulling up (my mom thinks its funny how far a part I would keep my feet.

My favorite place to play, under the end table.

Top view through the glass.

Playing under the exersaucer is fun!

Except when you can't get out and your mommy takes your picture instead of helping!

Don't worry I figured it out!

Landon's 6 Month Photos

We finally got Landon's 6 month photos back. Here's a quick story about our photo drama. First I will say that the pictures were amazing! Our photographer at JCPenny did an amazing job (props to Nicki). However there was something wrong w/ the camera and a black dot showed up on all the photos in various places. They promised us (because they had been told by the printing place) that it would not show up on the photos. However 10 days later when we got our photos, it was on all the photos in VERY obvious places. So they had to send htem back to get it corrected and they decided to give me a free CD to make up for the inconvenience of the misprints. This was a pretty cool deal because the CD is $100 and I was planning on buying one anyways. I did tell them that I only wanted the CD if the marks were fixed and they promised it would be. Well they didn't fix it, in fact they sent it to me twice w/o fixing it. It was annoying but the pictures are great so it was worth it. I know that I am bias but I really and truely think I have the cutest baby boy I have ever seen!!!! He is such a ham!!!

Meeting Noelle

Landon got to meet his cousin Noelle when we were on our mission trip w/ our students two weeks ago. We worked at a church that is only about 30 minutes away from Uncle Chad, Aunt Julie and Noelle so they came over to visit us so we could meet the newest addition to our family. An extra bonus was that we got to see my mom twice that week. She was visiting Chad and Julie to help w/ the new baby and she came over w/ them one day and then again at the end of the week to watch Landon for a couple of hours during Sports Camp. She even got to see one of his first crawls! Unfortunately we didn't get to see my dad, he arrived in the area just as we were leaving to go home. I missed getting to see him but hopefully we'll get to see them a little more often since my dad is retiring in October!

Grandmommy was so excited to see Landon she gave him lots of kisses!

Then Landon gave her some of his nice slobbery kisses too!
But he wasn't wearing lipstick so you couldn't see the evidence!

What is that on your neck Grandmommy?
My mom had neck surgery at the beginning of July, she is fine, just had to wear the
brace to help it heal.

Loving on Aunt Julie!
If this picture were bigger you'd be able to see the lipstick marks from my mom!

We are so excited to be Aunt Deborah and Uncle Darin to our sweet little niece!!
Get ready to be spoiled when you see us Noelle!

Landon meeting his first cousin! (well first "first cousin")

Had to keep a good hold on him, he's in a very grabby stage as evidenced in a previous post title "The Bully"

We tried to put some space in between them, but Landon says "I'm on my way Noelle!! They can't keep us a part!"

Ha ha!! I made it over!

Waving at his cousin!
I love this picture!!

My sweet little niece! She's so beautiful!

Talking w/ Uncle Chad!

Playing some more w/ Uncle Chad, he's lots of fun!

High Five Noelle!! Come on don't leave me hanging!

We are so glad that we get to share the experience of being parents w/ Chad and Julie! Should be lots of fun, especially when the two boys get here!!
